Product information

TORO Hunter’s Stew (Jegergryte) is a rich, mellow stew mix with mushrooms and a subtle hint of lingonberries. A comforting Norwegian classic, it pairs especially well with game or beef. Add sour cream, carrot and fresh mushrooms, and serve with potatoes or rice and lingonberry jam.

Product instructions

1. Cut 500 g game or beef into strips. Fry over high heat with 3 mushrooms cut into wedges.
2. Empty the sachet into a saucepan. Add 200 ml sour cream, 600 ml water and 1 carrot cut into cubes.
3. Bring to the boil while stirring, then simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the meat and mushrooms towards the end of cooking.
Serve with potatoes or rice and lingonberry jam.
Contains wheat (gluten) and milk.
Store in a dry place at normal room temperature.

    Please note that temperatures during transport can be higher than the outdoor temperature. Goods can be exposed to significantly more heat inside delivery vehicles, especially when parked in direct sunlight — even for short periods of time.
