Reindeer - whole sausage
Reindeer is one of the finest foods we have in Norway. Whole cured sausage is always nice to have in the fridge. It is perfect as a treat for two or the whole family, at home or on a trip - and it takes about 5 minutes to cook. Feel free to combine with whatever you have in the fridge.
Reindeer meat (25%), pork heart, cattle heart, pork, beef, lard, salt, irradiated spices, onions, blood protein, red wine, preservative (sodium nitrite E250), antioxidant (ascorbic acid E300) and starter culture. Meat content finished product: 83%. Smoked with berch.
Per 100 g gives approx: Energy 1773 kJ (428 kcal), fat 35 g (of which saturated fatty acids 13 g, monounsaturated fatty acids 14 g, polyunsaturated fatty acids 4 g), carbohydrate 2 g (of which sugars 0 g), protein 26 g, salt 4.5 g.
