Mills Smoked Cod Roe (Mills Kaviar Original) is a classic Norwegian caviar spread made from lightly smoked and sugar-salted roe from Skrei (45%), harvested from the pristine cold waters of northern Norway. Blended with rapeseed oil, sugar, water, and potato flakes for a smooth and luxurious texture, it delivers a rich, mildly smoky flavor that has been a Scandinavian breakfast favorite for generations. A balanced touch of vinegar and natural colorants completes the flavor profile, while preservatives ensure freshness during transport and storage.

Perfect for open-faced sandwiches, crispbread, canapés, or traditional Nordic breakfast spreads, this 185-gram aluminium tube brings authentic Norwegian coastal heritage to your table. Store at 0–4°C for optimal quality. The product travels well at room temperature while sealed, but once opened, refrigerate to preserve its distinctive smoky character and delicate taste.

Product instructions

Twist off the cap and use the star-shaped tip on the top of the cap to pierce the protective seal inside the tube before first use. Then squeeze directly onto bread, crispbread, or toast, and refrigerate after opening.

    Norwegian Foodstore and the delivery company are not responsible for melted or otherwise heat- or cold-damaged products outside the recommended storage range.
    Please note that temperatures during transport can be higher than the outdoor temperature. Goods can be exposed to significantly more heat inside delivery vehicles, especially when parked in direct sunlight — even for short periods of time.
    By ordering such items, the customer accepts this risk.

  3. If you still choose to order products that normally require refrigeration (e.g., brown cheese, mayonnaise, cheese in a tube), please cool them down completely before consuming and keep them refrigerated after arrival.
