DOUBLE SLIP COATING
The double release coating means that the crumb cake is easy to release when it is finished baking and ready to be shaped. For the result, it is important that the crumb cake releases easily, so you have time to shape the cake while it is still warm.

STORAGE
Although krumkakes taste good all year round, most people only use them around the time before Christmas. That's why we designed it so that you can also store the iron standing up. The cake iron has the traditional Østerdal pattern.
USE - FILLING THE CAKE DOUGH
1. Close the cake iron while it is heating up.
2. The indicator light around the thermostat button lights up red. When the green indicator light is on, the iron is ready to bake.
3. Open the iron and place 1 heaped tablespoon of batter in the center of the plate. Close the iron again.
4. When the green indicator light stops lighting, a red light comes on. After a few minutes, the green light comes on again and the cake is ready.
5. If you think the cake is too light or too dark, adjust the thermostat.
Using a cake stick, make nice cone-shaped cake rolls.
The cake rolls must be rolled around the stick while the baking stone is hot. The cake rolls can also be formed over a cup, so that they can be served with something tasty in them.
RECIPE FOR GOOD CRUMB COOKIES:
Approx. 14 pcs.
2 eggs that are weighed
Weigh out the same amount of wheat flour, sugar and liquid margarine/tempered butter.
(If the eggs weigh 125g, weigh out 125g wheat flour, 125g sugar, and 125g butter)
1 tbsp water per egg
1 tsp cardamom
Beat the egg mixture with the eggs and sugar.
Add the melted butter, flour, cardamom and water, and stir together.
If you find the batter is too thick, you can add a little more water.
Add 1 heaped tablespoon of batter to the iron.
