☀️ HEAT NOTICE - READ MORE HERE ☀️

Dear customers

We want to inform all customers — especially during warmer seasons — about the risk of ordering heat-sensitive products such as chocolate, brown cheese, and similar items.

  1. We always ship products without refrigeration. Please be aware of this when placing an order.

  2. Most products are meant to be stored between 18–22°C (68–71°F).
If you live in a location where temperatures exceed 22°C (71°F) (or are very cold), we strongly recommend not ordering products that are sensitive to temperature changes.
Norwegian Foodstore and the delivery company are not responsible for melted or otherwise heat- or cold-damaged products outside the recommended storage range.
Please note that temperatures during transport can be higher than the outdoor temperature. Goods can be exposed to significantly more heat inside delivery vehicles, especially when parked in direct sunlight — even for short periods of time.
By ordering such items, the customer accepts this risk.

  3. If you still choose to order products that normally require refrigeration (e.g., brown cheese, mayonnaise, cheese in a tube), please cool them down completely before consuming and keep them refrigerated after arrival.

  4. Please ensure that packages are not left outside your home. We cannot replace products that are stolen or damaged due to being left unsupervised in heat or cold. If you choose to have the package left outside, it is entirely at your own risk.

If you are unsure about the products quality before or after recieving it - or have any questions, put products in a refrigerator and contact our support team

Never received! This vendor, in cooperation with his carrier DHL Express ships to EU (in my case it was incoterms DDP shipment to Slovakia) without obligatory "CHED-P" document attached to such kind of shipments, and when you try to urge them to provide it because customs authority of course doesn`t approve releasing without the document, they keep in silence and waiting until your shipment is rejected and returned! When returned, the vendor informs you there is no chance for refund because return was "more expensive" than whole shipment and goods, blaming you of not reading and understanding their conditions and all that was your mistake! :))) P.S.: when I tried to complain at local DHL Express, after "weeks of investigation" of my case I`m that "guilty" for them too :))) I`ve "luckily" lost approx. about EUR 73.00 only, will never order there again, feel scammed and f*cked :(

Hi,

We’re sorry your order could not be delivered and understand your frustration. However, we would like to clarify the timeline and our communication.

Your order was dispatched on 30 June. We received your request for CHED documentation on 6 July, after dispatch. We have no record of any request for this documentation before your order was placed or shipped, and we were unable to provide it retrospectively.

As explained in our Terms & Conditions, at checkout before payment, and in your order confirmation, we ask customers to verify the destination country’s import requirements before ordering. We do not check each order against the destination country’s requirements for permits and certificates. Prepaid duties and taxes do not guarantee customs clearance.

We did respond to explain the situation and, following the return, why no refund balance remained: the return shipping charges exceeded the remaining order value.

We also lost money on this shipment. Neither party benefited from this outcome, and we sincerely regret the loss and disappointment it caused.
