A new type of Gudbrandsdalen cheese inspired by Anne Hov's original recipe from 1863. The Brunost is cooked in the traditional way in pots at TINE Dairy Lom & Skjåk in Gudbrandsdalen. Cooking in pots produces a smoother and softer cheese. In line with the traditional recipe, the cheese is added with extra cream and browned for increased caramelisation - for the sake of taste.
Note: The product is recommended refrigerated between 0 - 4 celsius. It will be shipped without refrigeration, as the manufacturer states that the product, can be stored in room temperature in shorter periodes. Please remember to put the product in the refridgerator when shipment arrives.
