Vestlandslefsa is made according to a recipe that was used in Hardanger all the way back in the year 1630.
Vestlandslefsa is a staple Norwegian product and Norway's biggest name brand on lefser. The folded treat with buttercream, sugar and cinnamon melts on the tongue. Vestlandslefsa can be enjoyed for both everyday and party and is perfect when you are going on a hike or want something good with your afternoon coffee.
Vestlandslefsa has both pre-filled lefser with cinnamon and sugar, which you will find in the freezer and dried lefser which you moisten and fill with your own buttercream.
Vestlandslefsa is made according to a good, old recipe from Hardanger that dates back to the year 1630. It was Inger Bø who started the lefse adventure at home in the basement of Os in the 1950s and Vestlandslefsa is still baked according to the same recipe.
